Plan a Timed Workshop with an Agenda, Workbook and Practice Quiz
Align learning objectives with activities and questions, reconcile the full agenda, test local feedback and download a real learner handoff before facilitating.
Fastest way
Ask your AI to do it
Paste this into the AI agent you already use:
Use Workshop Facilitator Studio to plan an aligned session. Ask for learners, time, group size and intended output; link every objective to teaching and practice and reconcile all agenda minutes. First run the fictional 90-minute kit. Test incomplete, correct, mixed and changed answers, rehearse the timer, download an actual worksheet and inspect native PowerPoint and notes. Keep practice feedback separate from learning effectiveness. No invitations, attendee collection, paid API or public publishing.
What makes a workshop kit more than a slide deck?
Workshop Facilitator Studio v1.0.0 creates a timed agenda, editable PowerPoint lesson, browser presentation, facilitator guide, participant workbook, practice quiz, answer key and alignment/rubric CSVs. Use it when participants need to do an activity and leave with a useful draft. The individual package costs USD 4.99. Python 3.10+ and pinned python-pptx build the kit locally without a paid API.
The generator checks declared objective coverage and agenda arithmetic. A facilitator still needs to review whether an activity teaches the intended skill and pilot its pacing. Local practice scores are feedback, not a secure examination, certification or measured learning outcome.
Start with the learner action and success criterion
Read SKILL.md and references/input.md. Supply the learners, prior knowledge, duration, participants, group size and intended takeaway. Write an observable outcome for each objective, then link at least one teaching activity and one practice question to it. Add materials, exact facilitator prompts, stopping conditions and an observable peer-review rubric.
Sum activity minutes exactly to durationMinutes. Transitions and breaks need to be accounted for in the authored agenda. Group count rounds up: a final smaller group is valid. The builder rejects a duration mismatch, an unknown objective or an answer ID absent from the options before creating the delivery.
Build the 90-minute fictional practice kit
Run the commands below from the complete installed skill into a new output folder. The included challenge is fictional and requires --demo. For your real reviewed material, set fictional:false and omit that flag. Dependency installation needs internet; the builder and generated pages make no network calls.
| Check | Expected result |
|---|---|
| Agenda | 6 activities totaling 90 minutes |
| Grouping | 18 participants, group size 4, 5 groups; the final group has 2 |
| Alignment | 3 objectives, each taught and practiced |
| Files | 12 slides, 5 practice questions and 15 manifest-listed result files |
python3 -m venv .venv
.venv/bin/python -m pip install -r requirements.txt
.venv/bin/python scripts/build-workshop.py --input examples/workshop.json --demo --output ./workshop-roomRehearse the activity timer and learner feedback
- Open workshop-room/index.html. Select an activity, start the timer, pause and reset it. Changing the activity resets its time; hiding the tab pauses a running timer.
- Open practice.html and submit with unanswered questions: it should identify the missing answers. Try all five correct answers and verify 5/5, then a single wrong answer and verify 4/5 and 80%. Review the objective-level totals and each explanation.
- Change an answer after checking: previous feedback and objective totals should clear until you check again. Reset the quiz and confirm the previous score is gone. Answers are in the client files, so use this as self-study.
Download learner work and deliver the reviewed kit
Open workbook.html, enter a practice note and download worksheet JSON. Open that actual file and check its activity ID and text. Notes stay in the current tab until downloaded; there is no automatic save or cloud collection. Do not close the tab before preserving the learner’s work.
Review agenda.csv, alignment.csv, rubric.csv and facilitator-guide.md, then inspect the actual presentation.pptx and notes in the intended presentation app. Browser presentation edits need a downloaded edits JSON and a fresh --edits rebuild to update PowerPoint; they do not rewrite the agenda or learning objectives. Verify delivery hashes and pilot with a real group before claiming learning effectiveness.
