Review a Stick-Figure Storyboard Before Generating Video
Turn an original source into timed scenes, review continuity and export a reproducible prompt and caption handoff.

Turn my source into a reviewed ten-second-per-clip stick-figure storyboard. Confirm audience, ratio and style. Check narration, three action beats and exact boundaries; show the full proposal before approval. Export the approved project, prompts and captions. Do not claim the silent animatic is model footage or call a paid provider.
What is included in a storyboard handoff?
Stickman Story Studio is a USD 4.99 MIT-licensed adaptation for planning original stick-figure stories. It creates an editable proposal, per-clip prompts, captions and a reproducible project after review. The local editor uses Node.js 18 or newer and needs no paid API; generative video, voice and provider costs are separate.
Its optional offline MP4 is a silent geometric animatic, not generated model footage. The preview illustrates selected motifs; it cannot synthesize every written action.
Start with a source and a supported duration
Supply a topic or source, audience, aspect ratio and visual world. Each clip is exactly ten seconds; propose a supported duration instead of silently rounding. The included fictional focus story has three clips, each with 24 English narration words, three timed action beats and a translated reference. The example makes no clinical claim.

node scripts/build-story.mjs --input examples/focus.json --output ./story-proposalReview the exact proposal and scene boundaries
Read the narration and every opening and ending state. In the focus example, the first scene ends with a white figure facing a gold doorway; the second must open in exactly that state. The tool checks continuity and narration word counts, but cannot prove spoken timing or provider character consistency.
The first build is an unapproved proposal. Review the full current version before approving it in the local editor or using its exact review.json SHA-256. Any edit invalidates the approval; opening a saved project in the editor requires fresh review. Never reuse an old approval after changing the story.

Export and distinguish planned assets from finished video
After approval, export the project, individual prompts, SRT/VTT, handoff and file hashes. Check captions against the final edited video because planned ten-second timing is not measured provider timing. Video generation, uploaded source, voice recording, publication and any fees are separate decisions. Preserve the original and upstream MIT notices with the handoff.
