Good fit

Creators building abstract art journeys, kinetic explanations or visual overlays.

Know the limits

Output is silent; narration and music need a separate editing workflow.

About this skill

Capabilities: build an art journey through Bauhaus geometry, ink landscape, cut-paper botanical, orbital sculpture, pixel garden, nocturne waves, aurora ribbons and contour topography. Keep a consistent geometric traveler, choose split or immersive composition, and control palettes, seed, frames, captions and cut/wipe/iris transitions. Explain a relationship with kinetic headlines, two-to-five connected steps, before/after comparison, supplied-data bars, an orbit diagram or an attributed quotation.

Deliverables: editable Canvas engine and local HTML studio with pause, seek, shot/format selection and preview-only look exploration; JSON/CSV storyboard, SRT/VTT, art look PNGs, handoff, licenses and delivery hashes. Checked rendering produces silent H.264 MP4s in landscape 1280×720, portrait 720×1280 and square 1080×1080, posters, contact sheets and text/movement evidence. Optional ProRes 4444 MOV supports a transparent visual overlay.

Requirements and first run: Python 3.10+ standard library builds the studio. Install requirements.txt and local Playwright Chromium for actual video rendering; imageio-ffmpeg supplies the encoder. The first-run panel shows setup and the exact command for examples/journey.json. Default fonts cover Latin text; pass a licensed local TTF/OTF/WOFF with --font for other glyphs. WOFF2/TTC are unsupported. No provider key is required.

Validation: the actual Skillrove art journey contains eight worlds and 768 frames per format; a separate six-layout explanation contains 576 frames per format. Independent fictional festival briefs tested art, four/five-step processes, sourced 0/10/20 and all-zero bars, quotation credit, actual video decoding, text fit, repeat-frame stability, playback/controls, regeneration, missing glyphs and failure cleanup. Numeric movement tests support review; they do not certify artistic or narrative quality.

Limits: silent output, up to 16 shots and 90 seconds. Narration or music assembly requires a separate authorized editing workflow. Values and quotes are supplied by the user and need source review. Preview-only look changes do not alter the saved storyboard or exported videos. The builder does not log into accounts or publish content.

Version 1.0.0: Skillrove-authored scene engine, layouts and workflow, with credited unchanged MIT utilities from huashu-art-motion and bundled OFL fonts. Their notices remain in every editable delivery. Individual $4.99 purchase and eligible active membership unlock this package.

    Your first result

Serve sample-video locally and play all three 32-second videos. Pause, seek, select shots and explore looks. Review actual frames and captions, then edit storyboard.json and regenerate into a fresh folder. Repeat with examples/explainer.json for steps, comparisons, sourced bars, orbit diagrams and quotations.

Python 3.10+; local Chromium, Pillow and bundled FFmpeg for checked exports. Setup is shown for macOS/Linux; use .venv\Scripts\python.exe on Windows. English default fonts; a licensed TTF/OTF/WOFF can be supplied with --font. Output is silent. No voice, music, paid API or publication account is called. MIT utility and OFL font notices are included.

If sample-video already exists, change the output to ./sample-video-2. Existing files are never overwritten.

    Prefer to ask your agent?

Use Art Motion Studio at .agents/skills/art-motion-studio. Read SKILL.md and review scripts/build-studio.py. Run examples/journey.json into a new output folder and show me all generated files. Keep fictional sample content clearly labeled.

Ready to use your own facts?

Copy examples/journey.json to a new input file, replace all fictional facts, and generate into a new folder. Review the content before using or publishing it; the generator does not independently verify claims.
